Beaton's Point
Park at the public parking area shown on the map. It is at the very end of Col Sam Drive, which is just outside the provincial park. Walk west, and then south on the grassy trail that follows the west side of the bay, and turn WESTWARD for maybe 100 meters. Turn south through the woods on a short trail to the beach. Then walk eastward along the beach (total about 1.5 km). There may be a gap in the beach where water drains from the bay, but this will be right at or before the point" (which may not look like much of a point). The spot is good for shorebirds
